Toyota were launching the new 86 Sports care and came to Chilli to formulate a revenue generation channel through merchandise. Toyota required cobranded items that aligned closely with the current purchasing habits of the 86 owner and aspirational target markets.

 

 

THE SOURCING SOLUTION

 

Chilli supplied and marketed cobranded items from internationally recognised and iconic brands Oakley, Nike and Morrissey for the 86 product range.

A combination of onsite sale days and sophisticated ecommerce was utilised to drive efficient and seamless market penetration and user experience.

 

 

THE RESULTS

 

Multiple reorders has since been commissioned to keep up with demand, with Toyota seeing this as a future revenue generation stream across all its models. Chilli has since implemented merchandise ranges for Hilux, Fj cruiser, Land rover, Corolla, Rav 4 and Kluger utilising the same technology.
